On a journey to purchase her first ‘real’ fur coat, Donna was listening to a Paul Harvey radio story describing factories that were using kitten skins to make children’s stuffed teddy bears. The compassionate animal lover and pet owner was ignited with an idea to create a luxe imitation that would provide the glamour, softness, warmth and aesthetic of an authentic fur coat, yet harm no animals. That moment evolved into pioneering a major movement in faux fur history.
